In the last couple of months Niksone has been photographing a side of Singapore that most of us could care less about. The behind the scenes of a city, that thrives on its finances, banking and the image of the most perfect livable place on the planet. Via a mix of portraits and cityscapes his goal was to capture an authentic and original side of Singapore that is being washed away.

The exposition is a mix of photography and mix media art displayed side by side to bring in some light and colour to the forgotten side of this small yet vibrant country.

Lucky enough i went to visit King's very own city called Hua Hin. A small but yet vibrant and full of character town, with it's big and sandy seaside, authentic Thai food and a variety of seafood markets.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]Of course, i did what i do best is photograph the faces of the people living in this city. The concept was 24 Canadian and Global Artists x 24 Growlers, do whatever you want, and make it look insane. My concept came from my origins as a Russian, and what's more Russian then anything is the "Russian Dolls". I have included an extra one in the design, you have to have two, one holds the key to the other one, The design is mixture of contemporary ink and traditional Russian doll art.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_single_image media="1379" media_width_percent="100"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_single_image media="1376" media_width_percent="100"][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Niksone Focus x Nike Blank Canvas

Every year Air Max Day is getting bigger and bigger, in 2016 i got contacted to do a small digital activation called "Blank Canvas", collaboration between influencers and Nike to invite people to customize their Nike ID's. I have worked with four dutch influencers to create a series of shots that later would be shared on respective IG accounts. of course it was all about white on white Air Max.

Nine SS.13 Onyx & Crimson

Nine SS.13 Onyx & Crimson was definitely one of the most memorable yet successful duos i have ever designed. Without even knowing it, i was creating two staple items that would be duplicated through all of the future collections. No just that, i was also introducing durable nylon that would eventually reflect the weather in the city and put a unique perspective on the brands image.

SOSETA 3

Soseta 3 is an independent Romanian socks brand Made in Europe. While knowing the founder of the company i got a chance to design and produce custom made patterns. The goal was to bring colour but keep it simple and brandless. No big logo, no big fonts, we wanted to create a feel of pattern ownership from the moment consumer sees the designs.
